Arlene Martinez, NP, started her career in 2012 working as a Registered Nurse in the Rio Grande Valley. Arlene completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas Pan American later earning her Master’s degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She holds a certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, treating adult and geriatric patients as her specialty. She has experience in various settings working in nursing homes and community health clinics to primary care. Her philosophy for health and healing starts with preventative care, patient education, and focus on overall wellness. In her free time, Arlene enjoys spending time with family, cycling, working out, trying new foods and travel.
